This event will be a potluck! Bring your favorite dish or snack to share if able!
We will be collecting donations for the Ned Fenlon Scholarship via a raffle.
The event will serve as a drop off location for hats, gloves, and boots for elementary school kids. Big thanks to Jill Hall for heading this year’s collection!

Emmet County Dems Roadside Cleanup
The Emmet County Dems will be taking part in the MDOT Highway Clean-Up on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 9:30am. to 11:00am. We will meet at the roadside park in Oden.
Chairs Verle Hansen and Cheryl Staats will be at the roadside park with safety vests, grabbers, and bags. This is always a fun event and a great investment in our community! Wearing your ECDP t-shirt (under your safety vest, of course!) is encouraged, but certainly not required. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase for those who are interested.
In case of inclement weather, the back up date for Highway Clean-Up is 9/27/25.

Like Minded People will be gathering at Legs Inn at 6425 N Lake Shore Dr, Cross Village, MI 49723.
They have a wide variety of food and beverages. This is just an informal gathering to meet and chat with like-minded individuals in the area. Bring your family, friends, and even folks visiting for the week!
Mackinac Bridge Walk
Emmet County Democrats and friends will be walking the Mighty Mac on Labor Day (9/1) wearing our Democratic gear. We will gather at Mackinaw City High School at 8 am and walk together to the event starting point. Please join us!
Dress for the weather and bring water and snacks.

Rally in the The People’s Park for Democracy.
Located in Petoskey on US 31 between Lake St and Mitchell St. It is also often called The Pit.
Please bring your family, friends, even those who may be visiting. You are encouraged to bring your American flags, Pride flags, Ukrainian flags, Canadian flags and your signs as well as loud voices, drums, etc. As always, we ask you stay off the curb and out of the street to avoid injury. It is a very busy intersection!
